What is Relevant Parties, is it eating? No, it's not something to eat but it's certainly something that will leave you satisfied musically. This Carhartt WIP project explores some of the music catalog of independent music publishers in a podcast presented by English music journalist Chal Ravens, where she talks to the people behind the music and explores stories and details that each of those involved ends up introducing into their work. . This project also involves Carhartt WIP at its core as it incorporates a capsule collection that includes products made in partnership with each of the publishers featured in the project.
In the second edition of RELEVANT PARTIES, called Volume 2, an eclectic view of the labels PAN by Bill Kouligas, On-U Sound by producer Adrian Sherwood, Ed Banger Records by Busy P, Exit Records headed by producer dBridge, the record label and Amsterdam distributor Rush Hour and Detroit-based Mohogoni Music, founded by Kenny Dixon Jr. better known as Moodymann. Following the premieres of the podcast episodes, Carhartt WIP has held some presentation parties for this capsule collection across Europe.
This week and next we will be condensing the presentations of the labels PAN, On-U Sound and Exit Records that already have products available at your La La Land Store, and we will present the remaining labels on their official release dates.
